First of all, I would like to say,.. thank you very much for your time to visit my blog. ^^
In this occasion, I am posting my activity in campus. That day, there was a "kuliah tamu" in my department, Chemistry Dept. The lecturer was a professor from Germany. I felt so excited. ^^
His name's Prof. Dr. Helmut Erdmann.
That day, I came late. Uhhh,, because of that, I sit in front. That was very close with Prof. Helmut. Suddenly, I asked by him, "bla bla bla.." Huaaa...I didn't know what his word. -__-" he said so very fast and not clear. So, I didn't answer what his question. :3
But, I was very interested to him. He said that if we want to study in Germany, We need to prepare our TOEFL min 550. Huaa,, My score TOEFL just 430 now >_< cicaaaa,,,, you need to pratice it harder again.
The Prof. Helmut's main researches consentrated in Biomolecular, like GMO. GMO is the short words from Genetically Modified Organism. You know DNA guys? yeah, His work is in modified DNA. Wiiihh,,, I was so interested. Well, when I took a biology lesson in my senior high school, I was so very loving this section.
You know that DNA molecule consist of two polynucleotides chains. DNA is made of four types of nucleotides, which are linked covalently into a polynucleotide chain with a sugar-phosphate backbone from which the bases (A,C, G and T). Also he talked about nano particle technology...
Then when time to discuss starting, I asked some questions . . ."If the technology of nano particles have some risk like cancer. Then what is the advantage of nano particle ?Like the gold nano particle in cosmetics. . .
Then , he said that he didn't know very well in cosmetics. But in food, nanotechnology will provide new ways of controlling and structuring foods with greater functionallity and value.
Finally, I told to him, "Sir.. , We want to take a picture together."
